I'm starting this blog to share my favorite photos with you, which include old ones like the above (I took this photo in Kyoto in 2009).
L&H in the blog title comes from the initials of my beloved dogs. And I've chosen PHOTO CAFE for the title, hoping this blog will be a place where you can come and relax as if you were in a nice and cozy cafe.
As mentioned above, this photo was taken in Kyoto, more precisely at a cafe on the Path of Philosophy, which extends from Ginkakuji Temple (a.k.a. Silver Pavilion) to Nanzenji Temple.
On this path, there once was a Yaki Yatsuhashi shop, but sadly it's long gone (Oh, Yaki Yatsuhashi is a baked hard cinnamon-flavored cookie).
The cafe, on the other hand, seems to be still there and popular.

上の写真（2009年京都で撮影）のような古い写真を含むお気に入りの写真をご紹介していこうと思いこのブログを始めました。
ブログタイトルのL&Hは愛犬の頭文字から取っています。またタイトルのPHOTO CAFEはこのブログがまるで居心地の良いカフェにいるようにリラックスできる場所になればとの想いで選びました。
上述のようにこの写真は京都、正確には銀閣寺と南禅寺を結ぶ哲学の道沿いのカフェで撮ったものです。
この道沿いにはかつて焼八ツ橋のお店があったのですが、残念なことにもうずいぶん前に閉店してしまいました。
カフェの方はというとまだあって人気のようです。
というわけで、今日はこの辺で。
