Hello and welcome to my blog!

A honey bee on a canola flower(菜の花にとまるミツバチ)

English version

I remember I was stung by a honeybee when I was a child. That was not its fault but mine. I mean, it stung me when I caught it. You know, sometimes unexpected things do happen (such flexibility of the abdomen!).

Here in Hokkaido, I see bumblebees more often than honeybees (maybe only around where I live). Every year I am impressed by bumblebees, because they come out very early in spring and keep working to the very end of autumn. I'm personally not a big fan of "working hard", though.

By the way, as you can see, the focus is exactly on the eye of the bee. It's very difficult to take a picture of a moving subject, so this is kind of a miracle for me and I'm glad to share with you!

Well, that's it for today. Thank you for reading!

子供の頃、ミツバチに刺されたのを覚えています。ハチが悪いのではなく悪いのは僕です。 というのも捕まえたときに刺されたから。ときとして想定外のことが起こりますよね(腹部があんなに曲がるとは!)。
