Hannya-ji Temple, which is famous for cosmos, is in Nara. I used to visit Nara when I lived in the Kansai region. I like seeing Buddha statues. Not that I'm a spiritual person, but that I appreciate them as art works.
By the way, some of you may be thinking what this cat has to do with the temple. The answer is simple: He (or She? I can't tell male cats from females just at a glance!) happened to be there.

コスモスで有名な般若寺は奈良県にあるお寺です。関西にいた頃はよく奈良に行ったものです。仏像を見るのが好きなのですが、信心深いとかではなく美術品としての鑑賞といったところ。
ところで、ネコちゃんは般若寺と何の関係があるの？と思っている方もいらっしゃるかもしれませんが、答え簡単。「この子はたまたまそこにいた」というだけです^^
